Regina Schrambling is the AA Gill (God, we miss him) of American food writers, so compelling and smart, and she has been for a long time. While comparisons are odious, Regina nonetheless is so beyond the genre it is simply ridiculous.

It also features a marketplace where all of the many olive oils that were honored at one or more of the first four New York International Olive Oil Competition events, the biggest by far of all of the other longer-standing and highly prestigious olive oil competitions. These olive oils come from everywhere olive oil is made, and while the list is daunting, the caveat is that the prices for them here, almost all of them half-liters, is astronomical PLUS a hefty shipping charge.
