These are the reasons for our price hikes on the 2022 oils and several other items on our website.

UPS has again raised its rates.
Shipping costs to us have almost doubled.
Transportation costs in Europe to consolidate our Spanish, Italian and Portuguese oils were increased yet again by another 25%.
The cost of our products (oil, vinegar and marconas) increased by varying degrees from various producers.
The new shipment of vinegars and saba has increased but won’t be here till March and our supply is good at present.
We will keep free shipping for orders over $100.
Glass bottles are increasingly difficult to come by. Most are made in China. All of our nearby sources have dried up and we are having to ship bottles to NY from California - while they last. We did hear from a pal that there is the intent to open a glass and bottle factory in the US but that it will be three years before it’s up and running. No updates on that.

We have two missions: 1.) We want to bring you the best, freshest hand-pumped and hand-labeled olive oils at the best price we can offer and 2.) We want to stay in business.

We really believe olive oil is a centuries-old gift from nature that is healthful and delicious and that we all deserve to enjoy the best olive oil every day. We are obsessed and devoted to the care and handling of our olive oils.
